HOOVER, AL (WBRC) – Several emergency crews will get the chance to train during a special exercise held at the Riverchase Galleria parking deck on September 19th.
The training exercise will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will simulate the effects of a tornado strike in Hoover.
Organizers say they designed the exercise to test inter-agency cooperation during a disaster of large-scale damage. Several differing emergency teams covering the entire public safety spectrum will be involved.
