TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - A bomb scare aboard a Greyhound bus forced an unscheduled stop in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday.
Investigators say a Nigerian passenger claimed he had a bomb and threatened to blow up the bus while in Mississippi. Riders say the man began making the threats shortly after boarding the bus.
"He kind of lost his temper, lost his cool and went to yelling a bunch of slanders talking about how he was going to set everyone on fire and make us feel the flames on the bus and he talked about shooting a couple of passengers," said Terry Lewis, who was on the bus at the time.
The FBI was unable to find a bomb on the bus.
It is unclear right now what charges the man might face.
