Birmingham, AL (WBRC) - Victoryland may be another step closer to a raid from Governor Bob Riley's task force on illegal gambling. Today, Macon County circuit judge Tom Young lifted his injunction against a raid.
Last week the Alabama Supreme Court refused to reconsider an earlier ruling which gave Governor Riley authority over the task force.
Victoryland attorney Mark White says task force commander John Tyson would need a court order to seize any of the electronic gambling machines at the facility which are currently out of operation.
