PLEASANT GROVE, AL (WBRC) - Pleasant Grove High School students have a new building to enjoy this year.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the new school Wednesday. It's more spacious and offers more amenities than the former school.
Pleasant Grove's principal says the added features won't just make the school a better place to learn but they will also improve extracurricular activities.
"We can put on professional programs and performances and pageants. It will seat 600-650 students. We can have anything and everything we want," principal, Wayne Byram, said.
Nearly 700 students grades nine through 12 attend the new school.
