WASHINGTON, D.C. (WBRC) - Hundreds of tea party supporters from Alabama are back home after a whirlwind weekend trip to the nation's capital.
Members of the Wetumpka Tea Party organized several buses to take people to Washington for Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor Rally."
Organizers say the rally was non-political, but people attending from Alabama say they want the rally to send a message to Washington politicians.
Tens of thousands of people attended the rally on Saturday.
The Reverend Al Sharpton and thousands of supporters held a counter rally and march at a nearby high school.
