BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - A Birmingham man who has admitted to killing five people is scheduled to go to trial.
In May, Martez Seay admitted to five different murders in Jefferson County. In return for the guilty plea on the capital murder charges, prosecutors agreed to pursue a sentence of life in prison without parole.
Even with the guilty pleas, Seay must still face a jury because the charges against him are all capital murder.
Martez Seay's trial begins later today.
