MACON COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - New developments in the state's battle over electronic bingo could lead to a massive raid by the end of the week.
The head of the governor's task force on illegal gambling wants Macon County Judge Tom Young to lift his court order protecting Victoryland from a raid.
The State Supreme Court overturned Judge Young's court order and sent the case back to him. Judge Young will hear a motion Thursday that would lift the protective order.
Task force head John Tyson says if his motion is granted, the task force could immediately raid Victoryland.
The Macon County e-bingo operation has an estimated 6,000 machines.
