TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - Construction to add more seats to Bryant-Denny Stadium at the University of Alabama is complete.

The University said work to add about 9,000 seats to the south endzone has been completed.  The additional seating will now allow the stadium to hold more than 100,000 fans for football games.

The University has also added more sky boxes and video boards. The stadium now has 157 sky boxes and four new video boards.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will play its first home game on September 4 when it opens its season against San Jose State.
