CHEF BOB'S COOKING IN THE DEEP SOUTH MACARONI & CHEESE

INGREDIENTS:
1 POUND MACARONI PASTA
3 QUARTS WATER
4 TABLESPOONS SALT
3 CUPS SHREDDED CHEESE
1/2 CUP SOUR CREAM
1/2 STUCK BUTTER

DIRECTIONS:
BOIL MACARONI IN SALT WATER - APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES. DRAIN AND PLACE PASTA IN A LARGE BOWL. ADD CHEESE, BUTTER, AND SOUR CREAM. ADD SAUCE (SEE BELOW) AND STIR. POUR INTO A BAKING DISH. TOP WITH SHREDDED CHEESE AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF BREAD CRUMBS. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 30-40 MINUTES.

SAUCE: MIX THE FOLLOWING
5 CUPS MILK
1/2 STICK BUTTER
3 TABLESPOONS PLAIN FLOUR
SALT & PEPPER
1/8 TEASPOON PAPRIKA
PINCH OF CAYENNE PEPPER
