GREENE COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Hundreds of former employees, residents and local and state leaders united at Greenetrack in Greene County to show their support for electronic bingo.
Greenetrack CEO Luther Wynn held a rally with hundreds of vocal supporters on Wednesday night. Wynn repeated his claim his e-bingo machines comply with state law.
Governor Bob Riley's office says a 2009 State Supreme Court ruling that defines bingo is on their side.
Bingo backers are planning a rally next Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Supreme Court building in Montgomery. They are hoping to get support from across the state to send a message to Governor Riley.
