Kairos Cheeseburger Baked Ziti

3 cups cooked ziti pasta
2 cups cooked and seasoned ground beef
1 cup cooked hashbrowns (the cubed ones)
1 & ½ cups cheese sauce (recipe on the bottom, or you could just use cream of cheddar soup if you're in a hurry)
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
Splash of Heavy Cream
1 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Sea Salt (to taste)
Cracked White Pepper (to taste)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ cup Chopped Tomatoes (for garnish)
½ cup Chopped Lettuce (for garnish)
½ cup Chopped Green Onions (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 9X12 casserole dish with cooking spray. Put in a splash of heavy cream and even it out into the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle in garlic, and a dash of salt & white pepper.
In a large bowl combine Ground Beef, Cheese sauce, hashbrowns, salt and white pepper, heavy cream, and 1/2 of each of the cheeses. With a plastic spatula, fold in pasta and chicken, and pour the entire mixture into the casserole dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Uncover the dish and sprinkle on the cheeses. Cook until cheese is golden brown.
Just before serving, garnish with lettuce, tomato, and green onions.
This is a quick meal that only needs a salad (or a veggie) and some bread to make it a perfect meal. You can also do the first part of the recipe a day ahead and store in the refrigerator. Just pop it in the oven when you're ready.
2 cans Cheese Soup
1 can condensed, unsweetened milk (preferably Carnation)
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoons minced garlic
1 pinch fresh cracked white pepper
1 pinch sea salt
2 cups of your favorite Shredded Cheese (I use mozzarella & parmesan)
In a medium saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients and simmer on medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the sauce begins to thicken. Add the shredded cheese, and stir until the cheese melts. Serve immediately or keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.
