Eagle scout project folding flags for Marines

TRUSSVILLE, AL (WBRC) - A local boy scout is doing his part to put a flag in every U.S. soldiers' pocket. Jacob Peterson, whose brother is a Marine, organized the flag folding ceremony for his Eagle project. Several others joined him. Once all 12 hundred flags are folded, they will be sent to a Marine Battallion deployed in Afghanistan.

Jacob Peterson said "…so they know that the country still cares for them and they know that we are grateful for them risking everything."

Making the story even more touching, Jacob Peterson is working toward the rank of Eagle and supporting our troops, while suffering from cerebral palsy. He will conduct two more folding sessions before they send off the flags.
