Mayor Bell holds public meeting for budget issues

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Mayor William Bell wants to talk with the public about the city's budget problems.

Mayor Bell will be answering questions from the people and seeking suggestions on what can be done to bring the budget back into the black.

Mayor Bell has proposed temporary pay cuts for city employees as one idea.

You can take part in the town hall meeting by going to the north Birmingham Library Tuesday night before six. It is located on 31st Street North.
