Two more Jefferson County towns may ban texting while driving

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Two more Jefferson County towns are looking to ban texting while driving.

Kimberly and Morris are considering the ban which could include phones, GPS and laptops.

The Kimberly City Council tabled the issue last month. The mayor wants to study how to enforce the law.

Morris officials are still working on their version.
