Some counties to begin Republican primary recount

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Some Alabama counties will try to begin the process of recounting votes from the June 1st Republican primary for governor.
Tim James has filed notice of an election contest with the party. He is challenging the GOP's decision to name Bradley Byrne and Robert Bentley in the July 13th runoff before the statewide recount is completed.
Party Chairman Mike Hubbard says the recount could be completed by Wednesday
Bentley's newly named campaign manager criticizes the recount. Bryan Sanders says the recount will be done by volunteers and it is likely to be less accurate than the official count done by trained election workers.
