MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Alabama's school superintendent is continuing his efforts to bill BP for the tax dollars the state is losing because of the oil spill.
Joe Morton says the oil is keeping visitors from the beach and that cuts into sales tax revenue, that helps fund the state's education trust fund.
Morton says he is going to send BP a bill each month, seeking compensation for the loss of revenue.
