Two teens arrested in connection to elderly man’s homicide

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) – The Birmingham Police Department has announced the arrest of two teens in relation to the murder of an elderly man.

18-year-old Detrick McGee and 16-year-old Larry Henderson have both been charged with Capital Murder in the death of 69-year-old Alex Rogers.

Rogers was found shot to death on Sunday morning in Ensley. Police say he had been robbed before the shooting.

Both suspects are being held in the Jefferson County Jail.
