BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Alabama Attorney General Troy King failed to win re-election Tuesday.
King was defeated by Luther Strange in the Republican primary for Attorney General. Strange earned 60 percent of the votes cast.
It is not yet known who Strange will face in the general election in November. A runoff election will be held next month between James Anderson and Giles Perkins.
The runoff will be held July 13.
