BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The United States Court of Appeals has upheld the conviction of former state senator E.B. McClain.
The court rejected McClain's argument that there was insufficient evidence for conviction.
Mcclain was found guilty in 2009 of money laundering, mail fraud, bribery and conspiracy.
He was sentenced to 70 months in prison.
McClain has been on bond pending appeal.
