JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Filling up at the gas pump is hitting Jefferson County officials in the budget.
Wednesday, county commissioners were told the Roads and Transportation Department will need another $400,000 in order to finish out the year.
The current fuel budget will run out of money by the end of July.
Commissioners say they will dip into the county's reserve funds.
