Etowah County theft arrest

GADSDEN, AL (WBRC) - Etowah County authorities arrest a man accused of stealing various items, from utility trailers to ladders.

John Mark Camp, 40, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property.  Both charges are felonies.

Etowah County investigators say Camp stole a utility trailer, chain saw, two string trimmers, ladders, and various other items from a home on South Main Street in Mountainboro.  The alleged crime was committed on May 8th.  Investigator Josh Morgan captured Camp after a brief chase on May 13th.

More charges are pending in the case, after investigators executed a search warrant and found additional stolen property.
