Federal court upholds McNair and Swann convictions

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -  A federal appeals court has upheld two convictions involving Jefferson County's sewer scandal.

The court upheld the bribery and public corruption convictions of former county commissioner Chris McNair and former county official, jack swann.

McNair and Swann were convicted in 2007.

McNair was sentenced to five years in federal prison. Swann is sentenced to eight years.
