GULF SHORES, AL (WBRC) - Coast Guard crews are keep their eyes on Alabama's gulf coast. They say oil could start showing up on a broad section of the coast line including Alabama in about three days.
The oil is coming from a wrecked drilling platform about 50 miles off the coast of Louisiana. The rig, which was destroyed by an explosion and fire, is gushing 42,000 gallons of oil a day.
