TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - Multiple agencies were searching Monday afternoon for a boater who fell in the Black Warrior River in Brookwood.
Sgt. Andy Norris with the Tuscaloosa Couty Sheriff's Office said a search was happening in the air and water for a 60 year-old man from Hueytown. Norris said a boat carrying three people capsized sometime after 9:30 Monday morning near Bankhead Lock and Dam along the Black Warrior River. The people in the boat were checking fishing lines when their boat struck a log.
Two people swam ashore for help, but the third person had not been found.
