Police officers help the Special Olympics with Tip-A-Cop program

TRUSSVILLE, AL (WBRC) - Area police officers are taking service to a new level this weekend.
     
On Saturday, police officers from Birmingham, Homewood and Trussville will team up for the "Tip-A-Cop" program. They will be serving meals at the Red Robin Restaurant in Trussville at the Pinnacle Shopping Center.
     
All the money raised will go to Special Olympics.

Officers are scheduled to work the campaign from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
