Crawfish Meatballs

Crawfish Meatballs[All Around Town Catering]

1 pound crawfish tailmeat

1/4 cup green onions

2 cloves garlic,minced

1 beaten egg

1/3 cup bread crumbs

2 Tbsp milk or cream

1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1 Tbsp fresh thyme

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1/2 cup oil for frying

Mince crawfish tails and combine with onions and garlic.Add egg,garlic,milk,and spices.Heat oil in skillet or frying pan.Spoon mixture into 1 inch round balls.Then roll balls in bread crumbs and set aside.Cook to nice golden brown.Serve with your favorite sauce.We will be using a creamy tomato sauce today.This is a great appetizer,and you can substitute shrimp for the crawfish as well.I hope you enjoy this tasty recipe idea.
