Tuscaloosa School Board votes on school improvement grant

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - The Tuscaloosa City School Board has voted on a school improvement grant that adds support staff but does not change the make-up of teachers at three city schools.

Central High School, Eastwood Middle School and Westlawn Middle School are seen as underperforming.

The board voted on a plan that will eventually change the principal at Central High School and increase technology and teacher support at all three schools.
