BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - American Eagle Airlines, the regional arm of American Airlines, announced Tuesday it has launched a non-stop jet service between Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and Miami International Airport.
"American Eagle is delighted to introduce service between Birmingham and Miami," said Lillian A. Dukes, Vice President of Maintenance Technical Services for Eagle, in a statement Tuesday to FOX6 News. "Customers will enjoy convenient connections on American Eagle to destinations throughout the American Airlines global network."
American Eagle said it will operate the daily service with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.
