20,000 Alabamians to lose unemployment benefits

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - More than 20,000 Alabamians will lose their unemployment benefits on Monday.
Lawmakers in Washington D.C. ran out of time to take up a vote extending the deadline. They are encouraging people to continue to file for benefits, in case they come back and pass a bill that is retroactive.
