Governor and A.G. meet to discuss gaming task force

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Governor Bob Riley and Attorney General Troy King met on Wednesday to discuss the fate of Riley's gambling task force.

King emerged from the meeting saying he had made no decision about whether to take over the task force and end its efforts to shutter electronic bingo operations.
"The governor and I had a very good conversation we had a good exchange of Ideas and I think the both of us have a lot to think about now," says King. King later added that the discussion was very friendly and that he and the Governor remain friends.

A judge in Birmingham ruled Monday that King can exercise authority over the task force.
