Reverends Sharpton and Jackson to join in on bingo rally

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will attend a march and rally this weekend in Montgomery in favor of electronic bingo.

The event was organized by former Tuskegee Mayor Johnny Ford and Montgomery businessman Greg Calhoun. They expect participation by elected officials headed to Selma for Sunday's anniversary of Bloody Sunday.

Ford says the rally is intended to show support for laid-off workers and to encourage the legalization of electronic bingo.
