BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Some folks are keeping their fingers crossed about Tuesday's snow threat.
But with several snow events this season, not everyone is thrilled about another one.
While Tuesday's snow possibility didn't cause a panic at grocery stores, the manager of Piggly Wiggly in Homewood says the last few snow threats have been good for business.
People bought groceries, specifically milk and bread.
The president of Flowers Baking Company says management responds quickly anytime there's a snow threat, making sure stores don't run out of products. And business has been better than previous winter seasons.
"We bake the product here, the hours don't mean anytime to these people they know they are going to make a lot of money," said Carter Wood, President of Flowers Baking Company.
"We add product to get to distributors. They do a terrific job of making sure our customers have the right products, enough product to get through snow scares."
No worries this time around, there's plenty of bread on store shelves.
Meanwhile many folks are hoping it's the last round of winter weather this season.
