Man found guilty of Valentine's Day murder

TALLADEGA, AL (WBRC) - The verdict is in at a Talladega County murder trial.

It took 2 1/2 hours to convict Fred Allen-Walker.

Walker fatally shot his employer, Gerry Harrell, at Harrell's Motorcycle shop in Oxford on Valentine's Day 2006.

Walker admits firing the fatal shots, but his defense was he has mental problems.

He claimed God ordered him to conduct the assassination, as he called it, on behalf of the U.S. Marshals Service.

Walker will be sentenced in April.
