Jury selection begins for the last of Fanaei murder suspects - WBRC FOX6 News - Birmingham, AL

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Jury selection begins today for the last of three men accused of murdering UAB student Kayla Fanaei.
Alfred Marina is one of three men accused of shooting her in the parking lot of Glen Iris Elementary school back in 2007.
Fanaei was sitting in the school's parking lot talking on her cell phone when police say she was approached by Marina and two others who allegedly attempted to rob her and kill her.
Deputies were called to the 300 block of Willow Avenue in the Bayview community around 4 p.m. after a fisherman discovered the body.
