BLOUNT COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - A car and a school bus have been in a wreck on County Highway 33 in Blount County.
Supterintendent Jim Carr tells Fox 6 News that a vehicle ran into a back of a school bus.
Carr says 1 child on the bus had a minor injury and was transported to a hospital. There has been no mention of injuries in the car.
The wreck happened around 7:30 am. while the school bus was taking kids to Cleveland Elementary School.
Clouds are increasing across the area tonight and the chance of showers will return after midnight. Rain will increase from west to east throughout the morning, with moderate to heavier rain possible later in the day.
