Fundraiser to benefit Honor Flight

BESSEMER, AL (WBRC) – A new fundraiser is hoping to help raise money to help WWII vets get to see the WWII Memorial.

"Hot Dogs for Heroes" will be held at Noland Hall at the Oaks on Parkwood in Bessemer on Thursday, February 11th. It will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This benefits "Honor Flight", a nonprofit program that will fly WWII vets to the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C.

For $5, diners can receive a hotdog, chips, cookies and a soft drink.
