I'm against electronic bingos. I know people can go to Georgia, Mississippi or somewhere else to gamble. If it is right at your back door, you are more apt to do it.... We'd have a lot of people that would end up losing their homes, cars....
Brenda from McCalla
I think bingo should be allowed. There's millions of peole that go and play just to get out of their homes just to have something to do and socialize.
Sam from Mountain Brook
I think it is a ridiculous argument about bingo. It's going to go into the other states. The revenue that is needed that is not going to corrupt our morals and ethics any more if we have it or we don't have it. People have a right to choose what they want to do. It's an issue that Governor Riley is not dealing with equitably. The people need to have a vote on this issue.
Betty from Jasper
The bingo players would get mad at our church because they wouldn't have paid their drug bills and gas bills, electric bills so they could go play bingo every night. I'm just wondering how many of them that's voting for it is on some kind of charity or something that they can holler bingo every day.
Kathy from Trussville
We need gambling in Alabama....All of our money is going out of state.
