Remains of Birmingham Air Force Major found in hotel rubble in Haiti

PORT AU PRINCE, HAITI (WBRC) - The military says the remains of a Birmingham native who was killed in Haiti's earthquake have been found.

Authorities found the remains of Air Force Major Kenneth Bourland in the rubble of the hotel where he was staying in Port-au-Prince. Bourland was 37.
    
The military says Major Bourland was on Air Force business in Haiti the day of the earthquake.
