BESSEMER, AL (WBRC) - A jury finds former Bessemer city councilwoman Louise Alexander not guilty on all charges against her in a public corruption case.
Alexander was accused of using her position for personal gain.
Allegations against her stem from 3 checks she received from a Tuscaloosa businessman, Stan Pate.
Alexander was accused of pocketing money that was meant for Abrams Elementary.
Pate said he wrote 3 checks that totaled $17,000.
