AL Supreme Court deciding AG's role over district attorneys

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - The Alabama Supreme Court is deciding whether Attorney General Troy King can take over and dismiss lawsuits that some district attorneys filed against pharmacies.

The suits accuse the companies of substituting generic drugs for name brands. King says the suits are meritless and should be thrown out.

The Alabama District Attorneys Association argues that King is trying to make all district attorneys subordinate to him.
