Center Point apartment complex suffers morning fire

CENTER POINT,  AL (WBRC) – An apartment complex in Center Point was ravaged by fire on Thursday morning.

Firefighters say the blaze started around 8:00 a.m. at the Premier Chalkville Apartments.

The Center Point Fire Department was able to extinguish the blaze around 8:45 a.m.

No one was injured, but 16 units have been affected by smoke damage.
