MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Save Alabama PACT will hold a rally beginning around 9:00 a.m. on the steps of the State House on Tuesday.
Advocates will rally in hopes of bringing more recognition to the pre-paid college tuition plan's funding.
On Monday night, a group met at Dexter Avenue United Methodist Church in Montgomery.
Save Alabama PACT plans to defend its contracts and plead with lawmakers to make sure those contracts are honored. "This is the time for us to stand up, let people know what we think what we believe and to work hard on our elected officials so that they'll do the right thing," says Save Alabama PACT President Patti Lambert.
PACT is a state investment program which pays for students' college education.
