Single car accident kills Ragland teen

One teenager is killed and three are hurt following a single car accident in the St. Clair County community of Ragland.

Alabama State Troopers say 14-year-old Jadi Nicole Brock was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in lost control on Macedonia Road and crashed into a ravine.

Troopers say the driver 16-year-old Ryan Higgenbotham and 14-year-old's Darian Foreman and Summer Lonergan were hospitalized.

Sunday troopers were back out at the scene of the accident taking pictures and measurements.

"She's a girl that, the first time you met her you would fall in love with her, she has a beautiful smile, she will be missed by everyone at this school," said Ragland High School assistant principal Tamelia Echols.

Wednesday December 30'th at seven o'clock in the evening a candlelight vigil will be held at the United Methodist Church in Ragland in memory of Brock.

Counselors will be at the school when students return on January fifth.
