All Around Town Catering's Hot Crab and Brie Dip

All Around Town Catering's Hot Crab and Brie Dip

 

8 ounces softened cream cheese

10 ounces softened Brie cheese

6 ounces crab leg meat[Snapper Grabbers at $13.99/lb]

4 ounces heavy cream

1/4 lb unsalted butter

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp salt

 

This is a very easy and tasty dip for the holidays.Soften cream cheese in microwave for 3 minutes,and set aside.Do the same with the brie.Heat butter over medium heat,and add cream cheese,brie,and heavy cream,stirring constantly.Add crab,and salt if needed.Stir the whole time and lower heat until creamy.Usually takes about 15-20 minutes to reach a velvety texture.Serve with crackers or crostinis for a fantastic appetizer.Happy Holidays!!!
