Chef Ron's Famous Fresh Homemade Turnip Greens

1 Bunch of Fresh Turnip Greens
4 medium size Smoked Turkey Necks
2 medium size Green Banana Peppers
2 tablespoons of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Crushed Pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon of Salt

Directions: IN a medium size pot, filled with warm water, add turkey necks, Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes. While the turkey necks are cooking, pick turnip greens from the stem. Wash thoroughly in warm salt water at least 3 times. Make sure all dirt and grit is gone before putting the greens in a pot to cook. After the greens are clean, plase in a pot with warm water and cook on medium heat until greens come to a boil. Drain water off the greens. Add greens to turkey necks. Add whole banana peppers, sugar, crushed pepper, and salt. Cover and boil for approximately two hours. Make sure pot is refilled with water when needed. Additional salt may be added if desired. Serve greens with your favorite cornbread.
