HOOVER, AL (WBRC) - Hoover police are investigating a 23-year old woman's murder. They say it started as a domestic violence case and ended with her ex-boyfriend's arrest.
Courtney Stevenson was found dead at her home on Russet Bend Drive in the Russet Woods neighborhood in Hoover. Hoover police say they have arrested her ex-boyfriend.
Stevenson was found lying near the driveway. She had been shot in the head. Neighbors heard gunshots, but police did not find a body until hours later.
The name of the suspect has not been released, because he has not been charged.
