1 lb Dean's Hot Sausage 2 cans (16 oz ea) red kidney
1 lb ground beef beans, drained
1 med onion, chopped 1 Tbsp chili powder
1 med green pepper, chopped 2 tsp ground cumin
1 clove garlic, minced ½ tsp salt
1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes ½ tsp cayenne pepper
Including juice, chopped 1 cup water or beer
Brown sausage and ground beef until lightly browned. Add onion and green pepper and cook until wilted. Add garlic. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, beans, seasonings, and liquid. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
