Birmingham Board says their supt. search is fair

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The Birmingham Board of Education told the public that their superintendeant search is fair.

This comes after reports surfaced that link Board President W.J. Maye and one the finalists.

Board member, Phyllis Wyne, believes Maye should recuse himself from the selection process.

Maye and the others believe otherwise, saying such a move isn't necessary.
