ATLANTA, GA (WBRC) - Thousands of Alabama and Florida fans, young and old, gathered in Atlanta Friday to prepare for one of the biggest college football games in years.
The Southeastern Conference held its annual Fan Fair Friday at the Georgia World Conference Center, next door to the Georgia Dome where No. 2. University of Alabama and No. 1 University of Florida would play its each on Saturday in the SEC Championship Game and determine who would play for the national championship.
Several companies and vendors had lots of games for Alabama and Florida fans to play, such as flag football, football toss, and video games. Other vendors provided samples of their products.
Paul Finebaum of the Paul Finebaum Radio Network was among several radio talk show personalities who hosted their daily radio shows from inside the festivities.
Florida and Alabama will square off at 3 p.m. CST Saturday. The winner is expected to play for the national championship on Jan. 7, 2010, in Pasadena, Calif.
