Tim James to address Jeffco mayors

GRAYSVILLE, AL (WBRC) - Campaigning for next year's governor's race picks up Thursday in Graysville.

Republican Tim James will speak with the mayors of Jefferson County. A spokesman says he will outline a plan to restart the metro's economy and job growth and will call for city and county governments to clean up ethics problems.

James will pledge staff or special resources to help the metro grow jobs if he is elected and will tell mayors that the region should focus on how to help UAB become a bio-tech research center.
